Welcome

I love to think and explore and write.  "Living in my head", I've often felt like that one bird apart in this picture.  But friends, family, and colleagues have encouraged me to write a blog in retirement so that's what I'm doing.  I expect to explore a variety of topics...mostly theology and biblical studies but life, travel, and history may show up from time to time.  I'm new to blogging so I expect to be learning and making changes to this site and blog as I go.  

P.S.  This is my birthday present to myself as I turn 70

...thus the name, "The View from 70".
